Senior Financial Analyst
General Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst partners closely with NWC functional leads and teams to provide strategic finance and planning support, as such, a successful candidate will be an individual who has demonstrated ownership and accountability for delivering results in an operations-oriented environment and/or working as a business partner to operational functions to jointly drive success. This position will be the sole provider of support to the Director of Finance in the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analytics, reports and data with the intent to provide forward-looking financial planning, forecasting and projections for the company’s future business endeavors. This role will partner with other senior leaders to develop strategic business plans, measurements and collaborate on ad hoc analyses and business cases for new initiatives. This individual is highly analytical, an independent thinker, detail-oriented, collaborative with exceptional partnership and communication skills and able to support multiple projects, as needed, with limited supervision.

- Analytical and critical thinking skills required to synthesize large sets of data and perform modeling that produces concise outputs to deliver business insights, reporting, recommendations and/or conclusions to leadership
- Ability to offer creative solutions when faced with challenges, think through alternatives, implement the best course of action and work towards effective solutions
- Impeccable integrity and discretion with confidential matters and sensitive information
- Provide forecasting, planning, analytical reporting, and project support to Director of Finance
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, analytics/modeling, and operational metrics tracking to operations/leadership teams
- Demonstrated ability to create, maintain, explain complex financial models
- Produce weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with staff across all corporate functions to facilitate data gathering and aggregation
- Work with stakeholders from various functions to ensure data accuracy and alignment
- Identify and drive continuous process improvements
- Help increase productivity by developing automated and improved reporting/forecasting tools
- Collaborate with various departments on annual budgets and analyses
- Ad-hoc projects that are likely to include automation of existing process, enhancing reporting and data consolidation
- Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of industry trends
- Various other projects as assigned by the Director of Finance

- Strong Excel skills with experience using advanced Excel functions for financial modeling

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or other equivalent degree
- 5-7 years relevant and progressive finance experience
- Construction industry experience a plus

- Salary: $94,000.00 – $122,000.00 per year DOE
