DESCRIPTION 

We were contracted to deliver the mass excavation and utilities for a multifamily complex of 19 buildings, cast in place detention vault, sewer, storm and water systems.

SCOPE OF WORK 

Our team was responsible for TESC, clearing and grubbing, site demolition, utility installation (water/storm/sewer), and mass excavation onsite and offsite.  This included excavation and augur cast piles for the underground detention vault, over excavation of 65,000 BCY of peat, pad prep for 19 buildings, two utility bores under creeks, 3500 linear feet of sewer, 5500 linear feet of storm and 3600 linear feet of water mains. We also worked on offsite improvements to Polar Way and wet land creation and mitigation.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

• 84,500 cubic yards of peat removed and replaced
• Reconstruction of 1500 linear feet of Polar Way with 1000 linear feet of 12” sewer and bore under Tibbetts creek
• Four acres of wetland creation
