DESCRIPTION 

This project involves the creation of a cutting-edge practice facility for the WNBA team Seattle Storm.

SCOPE OF WORK 

Northwest Construction serves as the earthwork and utilities subcontractor, with the earthwork scope encompassing the demolition of existing hardscapes, excavation for the new building, grading, and preparation for footings. Utility-related tasks include the installation of new sewer, storm, and water utilities to the building, along with the installation of a large StormTech stormwater vault.

During the initial phases of our work, challenges emerged with the discovery of petroleum-contaminated soils and a sizable tank containing hazardous materials. Our team played a pivotal role in managing the disposal of these materials and collaborated with the owner to present cost-saving options.
