LOCATION

DESCRIPTION
Our team will perform all aspects of earthwork for the project, including site development, mass excavation, structural excavation and backfill, and the establishment of a community park. The new building will serve as housing for the University of Washington, complemented by the creation of a vibrant community park.
SCOPE OF WORK
Our team will start this project by demolishing the existing ROW hardscapes and establishing a temporary bike path. Adjacent to our project site lies an empty lot, which we will convert into a temporary construction yard, later transforming it into a vibrant community park upon project completion.
Our project site sits atop the University District Sound Transit Station. We will backfill a section of the station to construct a land bridge connecting to the rear half of the project area. Then we will undertake excavation and provide shoring support in the rear portion of the site. Once shoring is complete, we proceed with excavating for structural elements, backfilling after their placement, and installing a capillary break layer.
Once most of the project is complete, we will demolish existing ROW hardscapes and prepare them for the installation of new infrastructure.
